Phillips-Medisize Finalizes Deal to Expand Manufacturing Presence With Its Largest Facility in Wisconsin

HUDSON, WI – October 26, 2018 – Phillips-Medisize, a Molex company, closed on its purchase of 34 undeveloped acres in the city of Hudson, Wisconsin, to expand its high-tech and FDA-regulated manufacturing operations. Construction of the 180,000-sq. ft. building at the St. Croix Meadows site is expected to commence later in 2018 for completion by mid-2020, making it Phillips-Medisize’s single largest manufacturing facility in west central Wisconsin and supporting at least 200 jobs for skilled manufacturing and engineering employees.

It will follow cGMP-compliant, FDA-approved facility guidelines and clean room practices, as well as incorporate state-of-the-art equipment to meet the requisite quality production standards. The anticipated investment in the new facility will exceed $40 million, underscoring the company’s commitment to better serve its customers and the community.
