Position Overview

Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking a Process Design Engineer


Monday – Friday at 08.15 am. – 05.30 pm

Essential Functions

  • To introduce new product to manufacturing by prepare and coordinate the 1st order transfer processes to ensure manufacturing feasibility until the mass manufacturing release phase in order to meet the first lot quality and manufacturing released lead-time performance through production training before start 1st lot, 1st piece confirmation, pilot run and manufacturing release approval (RTM)
  • To conduct and prepare 1st order document related such as manufacturing process control documents (PI, Process flow chart), engineering evaluation (EER), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), validation and verification document (VVR), Process validation (IOPQ), GR&R
  • Create an appropriate conceptual and design tooling, jig, fixture, equipment will be used for new product development prior transfer to manufacturing to be easy to use, robustness and look professional
  • Apply Design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) principle such as minimize the number of parts, minimize the number of fasteners, avoid difficult components, use modular subassemblies, minimizes operation and process step to reduce cost of components, cost of assembly and cost of supporting
  • Determine new machine parameters, electrical testing parameters and critical process control points to meet with customer requirements and conform with manufacturing quality standard documents

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering
  • 5 Year’s experiences in Process design

Skills and Abilities

  • Good command in English communication
  • New Manufacturing Process Development, Implementation, and Management
  • Good Problem Solving and analytical skill
  • Interpersonal skills
