Responsible for Knowledge-intensive Organisation

With the need of a better integration of Market Based Management along with general organisational development this newly established position has been created. The position is located in Struer, Denmark and will have operational Human Resource responsibility for three sites: Struer, Virum and Cambridge which are all within the division of Global Innovation and Development. As an Human Resource Manager in Phillips-Medisize you are a culture carrier of the Market Based Management principles for approximately 150+ employees.

You will report to the Head of Human Resources in Europe and have a dotted line and daily reference to Head of Global Innovation and Development-Europe.

Drive Organisational and Leadership Development

You drive the process of annual performance appraisal, salary review and bonus. Within your area of responsibility is also the system for recruitment, retention and succession process. You are overall responsible for HR alignment in the greater organisation. Some of your primary tasks are:

  • Ensuring planning of local processes, statistics and regional benchmarks enabling managers to perform appraisals and pay changes to employees
  • Ensuring retention processes are in place for key employees and that succession planning is in place
  • Support leadership development as well as acting as process facilitator
  • Develop relevant material and conduct local MBM training/campaigns
  • Ensuring job postings are written in an interesting way matching the actual need and that the company profile is attractive.
  • Superuser of HR IT systems with associated “Business HR” role
  • Maintain and develop systems, tools and methods to support people management processes

International Multi-disciplined HR Profile

You have a relevant university degree (HR, business administration or social science) or equivalent and experience within multi-discipline HR function from a knowledge-intensive organisation – preferably an engineer-intensive organisation. You also have experience within an international context and possess proven results as coach and facilitator and a track record of building and maintaining relationships and network within global organisations. You must be fluent in English and preferably also in Danish.

You have a high level of integrity and credibility and high level of personal engagement and energy. You can resolve conflicts in a positive way and have the ability to motivate and make all participants focus on the promised deadlines without questioning the quality. You possess a holistic view combined with the ability to keep focus on business deliverables. You are result oriented, a strong communicator and have a global mindset and the ability to work in cross-cultural contexts.
